1. About our service
Steered provides personalised car recommendations for customers in the United Kingdom. Our team researches the current car market based on your requirements and delivers tailored suggestions to help you make an informed purchase decision.
By placing an order through our website, you agree to these terms of service.
2. Our packages
We offer two packages:
- Standard (£19.99) — 3 personalised car recommendations with 3 recommended examples on the market, an email report and a 15-minute phone call, delivered within 3 days
- Premium (£49.99) — 5 detailed car recommendations plus 5 recommended examples on the market, with an email report, initial phone call, and post-report phone call, delivered within 5 days
Both packages are one-time purchases with no recurring charges or subscriptions.
3. Placing an order
To place an order, you must complete our order form with accurate information about your requirements and make payment through our secure checkout (powered by Stripe). Your order is confirmed once payment is successfully processed.
You must be at least 18 years old to use our service.
4. What we deliver
Our recommendations are based on expert research and knowledge of the UK car market. They are advisory in nature — we provide suggestions to help you make your own informed decision.
We do not guarantee the availability, price, or condition of any specific vehicle we recommend. Car listings and prices change frequently, and we recommend acting promptly and conducting your own checks before purchasing any vehicle.
5. Delivery timelines
We aim to deliver Standard recommendations within 3 days and Premium recommendations within 5 days of your order being confirmed. While we always aim to deliver sooner, these are target timeframes and not guaranteed deadlines.
If we anticipate a delay, we will contact you to let you know.
6. Satisfaction and revisions
We want you to be completely satisfied with our recommendations. If you feel they do not match what you asked for, contact us and we will revise them at no extra cost.
7. Refunds
If we have not yet started work on your recommendations, you may request a full refund by contacting us. Once work has begun or recommendations have been delivered, refunds are offered at our discretion.
If you are unhappy with the quality of our recommendations, we encourage you to request a revision first (see section 6). We will always try to resolve any issues before considering a refund.
8. Payment
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards. All prices are listed in GBP and include VAT where applicable. We do not store your payment card details.
9. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information in your order form
- Use a valid email address where we can deliver your recommendations
- Provide a working phone number if ordering the Premium package
- Conduct your own due diligence before purchasing any vehicle, including inspections, history checks, and test drives
10. Limitation of liability
Our service provides recommendations and advice only. We are not responsible for any vehicle you choose to purchase, its condition, history, or suitability. You are solely responsible for your purchase decisions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service.
11. Intellectual property
All content on our website, including text, design, and branding, is owned by Steered. Your personalised recommendations are provided for your personal use and may not be redistributed or resold.
12. Privacy
Your use of our service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
